Bald Cypress grows in swamps and wet areas found in the southeastern part of the United States.  The cypress furniture we offer is made from 13/16” select Bald Cypress wood.  The wood is straight grained and very resistant to decay, moisture, cupping, and checking which makes it an excellent material for outdoor furniture.  Cypress can be painted, stained, or left untreated.  Left untreated, cypress weathers naturally to a gray patina.  The cypress furniture we offer is either unfinished, painted with two coats of acrylic gloss enamel or stained using a semi-transparent water seal/stain.   The stain provides UV protection and additional protection from moisture.  You have a choice of 12 solid colors and 5 stains. All of the fastening hardware is made from stainless steel for durability.
